Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our Adolescent Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong de-escalation skills and a background in acute adult mental health. The position involves assessing and managing the care of adolescent patients with various psychological disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescents in a psychiatric setting.
• Assess patient conditions and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and team members.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment discussions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience in an acute setting.
• Active RN license in the state of Maine.
• Experience with thought-disordered, psychotic, personality disorder, and manic patients.
