In this role, you will support the development and well‑being of children by creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Your enthusiasm for working with young children will help foster their growth, curiosity, and social skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s lives while gaining valuable experience in childcare, preschool education, and classroom management. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote childhood development, including play, learning exercises, and social interactions. Support preschool through school‑aged children with their routines. Ensure a safe environment by monitoring children closely and adhering to safety protocols at all times. Engage children in age‑appropriate educational activities that stimulate cognitive and motor skills development. Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, toys, and learning materials to promote a healthy environment. Communicate effectively with other staff members in the facility. Prior experience working with children is encouraged but not necessary. Classroom experience managing young children’s activities and behavior management techniques. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. Experience with children. Clean BCI/CANTS clearance. Completion of CPR/First Aid certificate within 90 days of hire. Yearly Flu Shot vaccine upon being hired in the field.
