We are looking for an experienced, highly capable agricultural or heavy-equipment technician to take

ownership of the maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and reliability of a modern agricultural equipment fleet.

The right person takes pride in understanding why a machine failed and can independently diagnose

mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic problems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in John Deere agricultural equipment or high-level

heavy-equipment field service, with experience in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems,

CANBUS/electronic controls, diagnostic software, welding, and fabrication. John Deere dealership or field-

service experience is highly preferred, although exceptional technicians from CAT, Komatsu, Case IH/CNH,

AGCO, or similar heavy-equipment backgrounds will also be considered.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair tractors, combines, sprayers, planters, swathers, balers, tillage equipment, trucks, and other agricultural equipment.
• Perform advanced electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting.
• Use diagnostic software, wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and technical service information to identify problems accurately.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and field repairs when needed.
• Develop and manage a strong preventative-maintenance program and complete preseason inspections.
• Respond to field breakdowns during planting, spraying, irrigation, and harvest.
• Identify recurring failures and develop permanent solutions rather than repeatedly repairing the same problem.
• Maintain an organized service truck, shop, tools, parts, and commonly used service components.
• Work independently and take ownership of equipment reliability across the operation.

Our Ideal Candidate is an experienced agricultural or heavy-equipment technician with a strong

background in John Deere equipment, diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical diagnostics, and

welding/fabrication. We are looking for someone who is an exceptional problem solver, can work

independently, and takes pride in diagnosing the root cause of a problem rather than simply replacing

parts.

The right person will be organized, self-motivated, dependable, comfortable working across a diverse

equipment fleet, and willing to take ownership of both preventative maintenance and repairs.
