MIG Welder – Industrial Racks

$17–$19/hr | Anderson, SC | Half-Day Fridays!

Looking for a steady welding job with great hours and local work ? A well-established company in the Anderson area is hiring a MIG Welder to repair and modify industrial storage racks. If you enjoy hands-on work, reading blueprints, and taking pride in quality welds, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Repair and modify industrial metal racks

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment

• Read blueprints and weld assemblies to meet customer standards

• Assess returned racks and provide details for repair/modification quotes

• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them for welding

• Perform final inspections and make spot repairs as needed

• Accurately record materials, quantities, and labor time

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials

• Travel occasionally to customer sites for on-site repairs

• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and quality standards

• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay & Schedule

• $17–$19 per hour (based on experience)

• Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Fridays: HALF DAY!

• Weekends off

What We’re Looking For

• Welding experience (MIG preferred)

• Ability to read blueprints and weld specs

• Comfortable working with hand tools and welding equipment

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Willingness to travel occasionally

• Strong attention to detail and safety
