Mental Health Therapist

OPEN POSITION: Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LMFT, LPCC Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) needed for child, adolescent and young adult group practice, The Intricate Mind Institute in the University City area of San Diego. We specialize in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Tourette’s, Anxiety, Depression, Learning Disabilities and/or Developmental Disabilities. We use only Evidence-Based Treatments/Practices (EBPs) for each mental health condition as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Social Skills Training (SST), Social Thinking (ST), Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBITS), Cognitive Enhancement Therapy (CET). We use directive, skill development based interventions with parent-training and family involvement through an outpatient clinic setting. The Practice operates under the direction of Dr. Baker-Ericzén, a clinical psychologist with over 25 years of psychological testing, intervention and research experience. She currently provides clinical services along with being the Principal Investigator on numerous grants from the National Institute of Mental Health and healthcare foundations. She is the developer of a cognitive enhancement therapy program for executive functioning disorders, “Command and Control Cognitive Training” and the Supported Employment, Comprehensive Cognitive Enhancement Social Skills (SUCCESS) program. Role Description Therapists carry their own caseloads and work between 1‑5 days a week creating their own hours (minimum of 5 clients on caseload per week). Practice operates on a fee split model with therapists operating as independent contractors. Individual and group consultation meetings offered regularly. Therapy intervention training available. All therapeutic materials (toys, books, games etc), forms and procedures provided.
