Sale Specialist PositionFrench wine distributor seeks a Sale Specialist for the Los Angeles/Palm Springs Area.Planet Wine LA, Inc is seeking an exceptional individual to join our highly efficient sales team who will be a cultural fit with our work ethic and exceedingly high standards, the type of person who takes great pride in their work. This position will require a person with a skill set that encompasses organization, communication, drive and an intimate knowledge of the wines and spirits across our portfolio which are primarily French.Responsibilities:Service existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customersEstablish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationshipsNetwork and build trusting relationships with existing and potential customersBe a knowledgeable resource and representative of the Planet Wine LA portfolio and productsAchieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within scheduleAnalyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and provide reports and feedback as requestedCoordinate and host events and tastingsQualifications:3 years professional sales experience in the wine industryMinimum Bachelor's degree in the areas of Sales, Business Development, Wine and SpiritsWSET a plus!Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)Comprehension of European metric systems and wine making processStrong knowledge of wine regions in France – Champagne region a Plus!Comfortable with pitching wine in front of a group of professionalsWilling to work irregular hours and independentlyStrong communication, time management and organizational skillsHighly motivated and target driven
