Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Ohio ODE Intervention Specialist license (K–12)
• Experience in high school special education settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered instruction
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
• Provide tailored instruction and intervention for a caseload of 24 high school students
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers
• Assess student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain accurate records
• Engage with families and guardians to ensure comprehensive support for each student’s unique needs
• Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment

This full-time position offers a consistent 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with the assignment running from ASAP through June 10, 2027. You’ll have the stability needed to develop lasting relationships and make a positive impact throughout your contract.
