Event Manager

You own the coordination and execution of Party on Butler's largest, highest-stakes events. This is a senior, demanding role, and we hold a very high bar for it. This is a full-time salaried position that comes with a strong health-insurance package. As a salaried manager who oversees staff, this role is not eligible for tips. What You'll Do Run POB's top-tier events end to end — from the first walkthrough to the final teardown. Build and hold the master timeline. Coordinate crew, vendors, deliveries, and the client so nothing slips. Stay composed and solution-focused on event day, anticipating problems before they happen. Manage florals, balloons, backdrops, rentals, and full install logistics. Own setup, breakdown, and the quality bar from start to finish. What We're Looking For 5+ years of hands-on events experience that you personally led. Real hands-on work with event materials — florals, balloons, backdrops, rentals, and installs. A reliable car is required for this role. Exceptionally organized and detail-driven — you build the timelines and systems that keep events on track. Comfortable with the realities of events — long days, early load-ins, late nights, and weekends in season. Saturdays start at 6:00 AM. If you like going out on Friday nights, this is not the job for you. Physically able to be on your feet and active throughout a full install day, with or without reasonable accommodation.
