Whether youre advancing your career or growing your skillset, we are here to drive you forward./ph3Role Responsibilities/h3ulliSafely load, secure, transport, and offload CarMax vehicles between stores, auctions, vendors, and logistics hubs./liliEnsure timely and accurate delivery of vehicles to maintain inventory flow and customer satisfaction./liliOperate equipment with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and cleanliness, maintaining a well-kept truck and trailer./liliConduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and CarMax standards./liliMaintain accurate and compliant DOT logs and documentation./liliRepresent CarMax professionally when interacting with vendors, store associates, and the public./liliFollow all company and federal safety regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliValid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) issued by the state./lili2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (Military heavy/medium tactical vehicle experience considered)./liliCurrent CarMax associates may apply if they meet:/liliA valid Class A CDL./lili2+ years of CMV driving experience at CarMax (non-Class A CMV experience acceptable)./liliNo preventable safety incidents in the past 2 years (validated by Safety Compliance Team)./liliClean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years; must meet CarMaxs Driver Safety Evaluation criteria./liliAbility to meet DOT FMCSA qualification requirements./liliAbility to lift heavy objects and operate winches during loading./liliProficiency in operating a 10-speed transmission and willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions./li/ulpAt CarMax, we revolutionized the used car buying experience over 30 years ago by introducing transparency and integrity into the process.
