Must-Have:

• Arterial line management
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line care/management
• Isolation precautions/PPE
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Titrating cardiac drips
• Titrating vasoactive drips

Description: These positions will be hospital float pool staff. Staff will be expected to float throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department. The primary location for this job will be in the ER hold area. Every other weekend is required. No call is required. Floating will occur within facility/scope of practice as needed. No block schedule requests will be accepted. Compliance with all requirements is necessary to start on time. Orientation hours are mandatory and non-billable. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. All RTO must be finalized at the time of submission. No RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite. Maximum RTO is 7 days per contract. Compliance documents must be completed within the designated timeframe. Modules are non-billable and will vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via transcripts.
