Electrical Field Service Technician

Posted: 02/27/2026 Industry: Engineering Pay Rate: $40.00- $60.00 per hour DOE Job Description Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour Our client in the data center/power space is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support onsite operations. Pay: $40–$60/hr (DOE) What You’ll Do: Perform installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of low voltage power distribution equipment (switchgear, transformers, etc.) Prepare technical reports and maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts Follow all site and company safety protocols Interface with Project Managers and site teams Attend site meetings and provide updates Deliver strong customer service and escalate issues as needed Job Requirements Requirements: Background as a qualified electrician or equivalent hands‑on electrical field experience Experience with electrical testing and commissioning Associate’s degree in electrical power distribution (or related) or 2+ years of relevant experience Experience with power distribution systems, AC/DC power, and monitoring systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Experience using testing equipment (multimeters, current meters, etc.) Preferred: Familiarity with UL standards (UL67, UL1008, UL891, etc.) Data center or mission‑critical environment experience HKA Enterprises is a global workforce solutions firm.
