Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description Job Summary: Seeking a seasoned OR RN for a seasonal travel assignment at a busy hospital. This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-volume surgical unit with experienced staff and advanced technology. Responsibilities:

- Conduct circulating and scrub procedures for various surgical cases including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedics/spine.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining standard OR equipment, including Stryker video systems and EMR systems.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to ensure a smooth operative process.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit guidelines, including on-call responsibilities.
- Provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Document all clinical activities accurately in the Meditech system.
- Hold a valid RN license and current hospital acute care experience of at least 1 year.
- Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Demonstrate circulating and scrubbing experience within the operating room.
- Experience with Meditech EMR system preferred.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and adaptability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
