Physician Assistant

Living Water Clinic-Clinica Agua Viva is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Position Overview Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care under physician supervision. Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans. Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices. Assist in minor medical procedures as appropriate to scope of practice. Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Stay updated on best practices and medical advancements, participating in ongoing professional development. Adhere to Living Water Clinic-Clinica Agua Viva’s mission and core values, ensuring a compassionate and culturally competent approach to care. Requirements: Licensure & Certification Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program Current DEA registration. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required upon hire). Current and valid Physician Assistant (PA) license in California. Skills & Competencies Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to diagnose and develop treatment plans. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing instruction in higher education or clinical training settings. Strong time management and organizational skills.
