Project Accountant

True North Companies is hiring a Project Accountant to support the financial operations of our construction projects in Roswell. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in construction accounting, job costing, and subcontractor compliance who enjoys working closely with project teams in a fast-paced environment. Location and Salary Roswell, GA (Onsite) $60,000–$70,000 What You’ll Do Manage and review subcontractor invoices, lien waivers, and compliance documentation Support owner billings and monthly pay applications Track and maintain accurate project costs, budgets, and financial data Ensure alignment between contracts, billing, and project progress Partner with Project Managers and Accounting to support cash flow, collections, and reporting Assist in maintaining organized, audit‑ready project financial records What We’re Looking For 4–7+ years of experience in construction project accounting Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, and subcontractor compliance Experience with Procore and Sage (or similar ERP systems) Ability to interpret construction contracts and billing requirements Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects Nice to Have Experience with lien waivers, retainage, and pay applications Notary certification (or willingness to obtain) If you’re looking to join a growing team where you can have a direct impact on project success, we’d love to connect.
