Medical Technologist

A medical technologist performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring various disease states. This role involves following standardized procedures and preparing samples for testing, while analyzing test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests on patient samples.
• Prepare samples for analysis and testing.
• Analyze test results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Adhere to standardized procedures for all processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Must be a certified medical technologist.
• Two years of experience in Blood Bank, Microbiology, or Chemistry.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Ability to work independently and exercise critical thinking.

Schedule

This position requires availability for weekend nights, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Additional Information

This role may require prior travel experience. Local candidates will not be considered for this position.
