Job Description
Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit RN Opportunity - Night Shift!


- Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
- Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4, flex to 1:5 in emergencies

Unit Highlights:


- Join an energetic team in a progressive care/telemetry setting
- Engage with a diverse patient population, primarily cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology procedures, along with medical/surgical patients
- Experience a supportive environment with interdisciplinary support from IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more

Your Responsibilities:


- Provide exceptional nursing care in a dynamic stepdown/immediate care unit
- Manage cardiac telemetry, IV starts, and interpret dysrhythmias
- Stay flexible and ready to adapt to the varying acuity of patients

Qualifications:


- Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS
- Minimum 1.5-2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in Med/Surg/Telemetry and 2 years in Stepdown
- Ability to read cardiac strips and respond to patient needs swiftly

Other Details:


- Scrubs provided: No, please wear burgundy and/or white
- EMR System: Cerner
- Robust orientation program available

Submission Process:


- Submit a complete profile including your work history, skills checklist, manager/charge references, RN license verification, and copies of all required certifications
- Limited holiday request time off: No more than 2 of the 4 major holidays
- Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility for consideration
