Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care during night shifts and requires flexibility in scheduling to cover essential shifts and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Float to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Acute Care Pediatrics as needed based on staffing requirements.
• Participate in a rotating holiday schedule, working every other holiday and at least 2 of the 3 winter holidays.
• Complete shifts as scheduled, including three 12-hour night shifts per week.
• Work three weekends within a six-week rotation.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and PALS certification required.
• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid Registered Nurse license; submission with an active license pending is acceptable.
• Availability for time off includes up to 40 hours, but no time off will be approved during the initial two weeks of the contract.

Schedule

The position primarily requires night shifts consisting of three 12-hour workdays per week.
