Job Description
The Cherry Picker Operator plays a vital role in warehouse operations, handling equipment such as cherry pickers, forklifts, and scissor lifts to safely manage loads and inventory. This role requires adherence to safety compliance, effective communication within a large team environment, and attention to detail for maintenance and quality checks to ensure efficient warehouse workflow.
Responsibilities
- Operate cherry pickers, forklifts, and scissor lifts to move and handle loads safely
- Manage inventory movement and storage within the warehouse
- Comply with all safety protocols and guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment
- Inspect loads and materials for quality and accuracy
- Maintain accurate records of operations and equipment usage
- Communicate effectively with a large team (10+ members) to coordinate tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in equipment operation
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to warehouse equipment
- Proficiency in load management and mechanical maintenance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities
The Fork Lift operators ( must have sit down and stand up experience) will support the operation to pull and sequence the orders received in a efficient timely manner to meet the shipping deadlines.
