Medical Scribe Allen/McKinney

Job Description The Scribe will assist the provider with the completion of dictations to improve the efficiency and quality of each patient visit and the overall clinic flow. Responsibilities and Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or certificate from college or technical school. 3 to 6 months of related experience. Certificate from medical assistant program preferred. Ability to type 45 WPM, basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook/Office. Provides excellent customer service to patients by listening and appropriately serving patients. Relays relevant information to the appropriate internal staff. Assists the provider in navigating Electronic Health Record system. Enters information into EHR as directed by the provider. Researches information as requested by the provider. Responds to various messages as requested by the provider. Assists the physicians/physician assistant with documenting patient care in the electronic medical record and ensures all services ordered are coded correctly. Participates in office meetings and educational activities. Complies with HIPAA procedures. Maintains work area in neat and orderly manner. Other duties as assigned. Working Hours 40 hours per week. Days of Week Monday through Friday (M-F). Shift Day shift (no specific shift specified). #J-18808-Ljbffr
