What to Expect The Engineering Technician for PCS2 (Power Conversion System) is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of manufacturing processes. Key duties include monitoring and adjusting equipment, performing routine repairs and testing of PCS2 assembly, and troubleshooting issues to maintain product quality and efficiency. The Engineering Technician must be proficient in various technical skills, such as rework, parts salvage and using specialized software and machinery. Additionally, Engineering Technicians conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to resolve defects and improve processes. Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams are essential to prioritize tasks and implement process changes. Leadership abilities are valued, particularly in training and guiding peers, as well as leading investigations and process improvements. A strong focus on safety, documentation, and adherence to standard operating procedures is crucial.
