Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Anacortes, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:00 AM - 01:00 PMTue05:00 AM - 01:00 PMWed05:00 AM - 01:00 PMThur05:00 AM - 01:00 PMFri05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical refinery location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while following site-required protective equipment requirements. Monitor for and promptly report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, damaged barriers, spills, releases, and other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communication protocols. Assist with access control activities, visitor and contractor screening, and documentation of patrols, incidents, and observations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
