Dietary AideLong-Term Care FacilityFlexible and Evening Hours AvailableGreat benefits and work environmentResponsibilities of Dietary Aide:Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures and provides excellent resident service within established guidelinesClean and maintain certain equipment and areas as designated by managementKeep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups and glasses during service periods.Serves meals to residents in dining areas in accordance with established portion control procedures that are appetizing in appearanceMay be required to complete daily cleaning assignments that include but are not limited to cleaning up spilled food, drinks and broken dishes, unloading dishwasher and removing empty bottles and disposing of trashParticipates in the departmental cleaning and recycling programDisposes of food and waste in accordance with facility / state guidelinesRequirements of Dietary Aide:Experience providing quality resident services including needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of resident's satisfactionAbility to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, has ability to prioritize work and resolve emergencies as they may occurWorking knowledge of sanitary practices relating to food handlingGood communication skills and ability to effectively interact with others (residents and families)Ability to identify and report problems associated with the daily work routine and provide suggestions for correction of those problemsMust perform dishwashing tasks
