We're looking for a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join our warm, collaborative team - with a target start date of May 2026. About Us AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor practice serving the Indianapolis area for nearly 70 years Loyal, long-term client base - many clients have been with us for decades Located near the Humane Society, with a steady stream of referred patients Genuinely positive culture with tenured staff members averaging 8-20 years at the practice 1:1 tech-to-DVM ratio with a tech team lead who has been with us for 27 years Patient Care Providers are cross-trained as technicians - you'll always have a strong support team Our Services Wellness Exams & Vaccinations Soft Tissue Surgery Dental Prophylaxis & Digital Radiography Ultrasound on-site and Ultrasound Services (visiting radiologist) Ellman Surgical Radio-Wave Surgery IDEXX Laboratory & Digital Radiographic Diagnostics Behavioral Counseling Electronic Medical Records Online Pharmacy The Role This is a part-time replacement position with a target start date of May 2026. Primary case types will include annual wellness exams, internal medicine, sick visits, and dermatology. NO surgery required! Schedule: 2-3 half-days per week OR 1 full weekday plus every 3rd Saturday (half day) Saturday availability is a firm requirement of this role Responsibilities Build rapport with clients by listening to and empathizing with their concerns Perform thorough physical exams and diagnostic treatments Communicate clearly with clients on diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive care, and nutrition Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical and surgical records Stay current on developments in veterinary medicine Represent the hospital positively in the community and professional setting Part-Time Benefits 401(k) Employee pet discounts Paid dues: AVMA, IVMA, state license, and DEA registration Qualifications DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited university Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in good standing in Indiana All experience levels welcome Strong verbal and written communication skills Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care Commitment to the highest standards of medicine and veterinary ethics To learn more, visit .
