Bring your expertise and compassion to make a real difference in students’ lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist! Two contract opportunities are available serving diverse student populations in vibrant, supportive educational environments.
As a valued member of multidisciplinary teams, you’ll deliver direct therapy, conduct evaluations, and manage IEPs—supporting K-5 students in a traditional elementary setting or providing specialized intervention for K-12 students with complex needs. What you bring:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina
- National certification (CCC-SLP) highly desired
- Experience working in school settings and collaborating with educational staff
- For elementary placement: background with younger student populations
- For specialized placement: familiarity with adaptive/augmentative communication (AAC), and experience with low-incidence or high-need student groups is preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage evaluations and develop IEP goals
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, and a passion for student growth
What you’ll do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related-service professionals
- Support students with diverse communication needs, including those requiring specialized interventions or adaptive technology
- Document services and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
