Midori Tea House, located in beautiful Falls Church, VA, is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista (Tearista) to join our team. If you have a love for crafting delicious beverages and enjoy working in a friendly, community-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing: As a Barista (Tearista) at Midori Tea House, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring every cup of tea is brewed to perfection and every customer leaves with a smile. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving a variety of high-quality tea-based beverages with precision and care.
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about our menu, and helping them select their perfect drink.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the tea preparation area and customer seating areas.
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, such as a barista or in the food and beverage industry.
- A passion for tea and a willingness to learn about our unique offerings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
