About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 240-day assignment in Alaska, starting Jul 13, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive bread and butter primary care to a native population in rural Alaska, focusing on a M-F 8a - 4:30 schedule. Duties include managing chronic diseases, conducting well child visits, and providing women's health services.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive bread and butter primary care to a native population in rural Alaska
• Manage cases involving hypertension, diabetes, COPD, asthma
• Care for pediatric patients, including well child visits
• Oversee chronic disease management
• Medically treat some psychiatric patients
• Provide women's health services
• Manage medications
• Perform history and physicals (H&Ps)
• Utilize full lab capabilities and on-site pharmacy
