Vice President of Dental Care
Job Details:
• Unique role combining 0.8 FTE administrative leadership and 0.2 FTE clinical work
• Oversee dental operations, mentor and support dental staff, and contribute to strategic planning
• Supervise, mentor, and train staff while managing performance and conducting evaluations
• Support staff development, recruitment, and orientation in an inclusive work environment
• Develop dental care plans and coordinate with other departments for comprehensive care
• Oversee budget, quality assurance, and promote cultural competence across all clinics
• Act as community liaison and participate in state, federal, and Joint Commission audits
• Provide high-quality direct dental care including extractions, restorations, and prosthetics
• Conduct patient examinations and formulate treatment plans based on individual needs
• Serve as Northwest Dental Residency faculty mentoring residents and dental students
• Float opportunity across Yakima Valley and Benton County clinics
• Oversee clinic operations for all Washington and Oregon locations
• Travel required for corporate meetings and community representation
• DDS or DMD degree from accredited dental school required
• Valid dental license in state of practice
• Proven experience in both clinical dentistry and leadership roles required
• Strong communication skills and commitment to serving underserved populations
