Registered Nurse - Cardiac and Surgical Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

AM Shift: 07:00 – 19:30, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours.

The Registered Nurse will provide care in four units: Cardiac Telemetry, two Med/Surg Telemetry, and Surgical Telemetry. The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic nursing care and administer medications, including cardiac drips (Ammio, Nitro, and Cardizem).
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to individualize patient care.
• Direct nursing support staff in providing patient care according to established standards and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• PA Registered Nurse License required.
• Travel experience is required.
