Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 3 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have trauma level 2 or 3 experience. Need to have critical care experience.

Required Credentials: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Special Requests: Will accept travel duos, cannot guarantee scheduling.

Shift & Scheduling: Every third weekend, every other holiday. Can also look at a variable if the candidate is interested in half days/half nights. Call or standby call requirement?: Not required, occasionally have off shift call needs from 1900-0400. Will take volunteers in order to maintain safe minimums. 1 hour call response time.

Other Requirements: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
