Details Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an 8-bed department within an acute care hospital Cares for OB, nursery, and occasional Gyn surgery, breast reduction, and abdominoplasty patients Maintains patient ratios per AWHONN standards Uses MediTech EHR system Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Weekend coverage required every other weekend Call requirements as needed Floating required as needed Requirements Active RN license (Kentucky or Compact) Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, and PALS Minimum 1 years of OB/L&D nursing experience required Charge nurse experience required Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provide nursing care within the Labor and Delivery department under the direction of the Director of Women's Services Professional demeanor expected on the unit Scrubs of any color permitted; casual wear not allowed Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-749419.
