Housekeeping Attendant (Part-Time) The Union League Golf Club at TorresdaleThe Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall condition of the clubhouse and surrounding facilities. This role is essential in supporting a high-quality member and guest experience by ensuring all spaces are clean, sanitary, and consistently maintained to club standards.This individual should take pride in their work, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and contribute to a warm, welcoming environment. Housekeeping Attendants are encouraged to interact with members in a friendly and professional manner while performing their duties.Core ResponsibilitiesMaintain all assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, and orderly conditionPerform routine cleaning including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizingClean and maintain furniture, fixtures, windows, glass doors, and high-touch surfacesEmpty trash and dispose of waste and recyclables throughout the propertyRestock supplies in restrooms and locker rooms as neededOperate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor machinesSafely handle cleaning chemicals and suppliesMonitor areas for spills, cleanliness, and maintenance concerns; address or report as neededFollow daily, weekly, and event-related cleaning schedulesMaintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standardsClubhouse & Facility Responsibilities Member Areas, Dining, & Event Spaces (MacAlester's, Bars, Lounges, Ballroom, Presidents Room, Private Dining)Clean and maintain floors, furniture, and surfaces before, during, and after service or eventsEnsure all spaces are guest-ready at all timesAssist with event setup, maintenance, and post-event cleaning/resetRemove trash and maintain overall presentation throughout service periodsLocker Rooms, Restrooms & Pool FacilitiesClean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, showers, and changing areasRestock all supplies including paper products, toiletries, and towelsLaunder and restock towels as neededMaintain consistent cleanliness throughout the dayCommon Areas, Offices & Exterior Spaces (Lobby, hallways, breezeways, patios, Tusk & Trunk, entrances)Clean and maintain floors, entryways, and shared spacesDust surfaces, fixtures, and windowsillsMaintain outdoor areas including patios and seating areasKeep employee areas clean, including break rooms and restroomsStandards & ExpectationsDeliver consistent, detail-oriented work aligned with club standardsTake ownership of assigned areas and maintain them proactivelyCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team membersInteract with members in a courteous, professional mannerWork independently while supporting overall team operationsAssist with special projects and seasonal deep cleaning as neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout a shiftAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 poundsAbility to safely operate cleaning equipment and toolsFlexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidaysQualificationsPrior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (club or hospitality setting a plus)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetAbility to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipmentCompensation:Fair wages and safe working environmentEmployee mealsEnergetic, multi-faceted, team-oriented work atmosphereExposure to a national marketOpportunities of promotion from withinEducational funding for employees and Scholarship opportunities for employee children and grandchildrenUniforms (for uniformed employees)401k retirement plan with employer match of up to 6% once required hours are met (for full-time and part-time employees)
