Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | Guaranteed 40 hours per week (36 hours guaranteed on select schedule options)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating nurse duties in an active operating room environment supporting all surgical specialties
• Provide care for outpatient and inpatient populations across all age groups and surgical specialties
• Participate in on-call rotation, including approximately 8 on-call shifts per 6-week period with a 30-minute call-back requirement
• Fulfill weekend and holiday call requirements as needed, including up to 4 days of weekend call per rotation
• Utilize electronic health record systems for clinical documentation; Epic experience preferred
• Demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical setting averaging 350–400 cases per month across 6 operating rooms

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a circulating nurse in an operating room setting
• Prior experience taking surgical call
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to varying start times and schedule configurations
• Must not reside within 40 miles of the facility (travel/non-local candidates only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and ability to manage change in a dynamic surgical environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a supportive surgical team
