Box Truck Delivery Driver

Description

The Class B CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers' homes and company locations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, reliability, and professionalism, as well as the ability to safely load, unload, and maneuver products weighing up to 100 pounds.


This is a physically demanding delivery position requiring frequent lifting, carrying, loading, unloading, and movement of products.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loading, transporting, and delivering product to customer homes/company locations in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied.
• Load and unload product from delivery truck into customer home or business
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and directing complaints to Customer Care.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow schedule.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.

Requirements

• Possess and maintain Class B CDL
• One year minimum delivery truck driver experience
• DOT Health Card
• Successful completion of the Company's background screening and driving record requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and use of hands. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs. The position requires the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and cargo area.
