Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced retail environment requires precision, strong communication, and a passion for patient well-being. This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist to support a busy pharmacy in Hollywood, FL, for a 6-8 week contract assignment focused on day shifts.
Location: Hollywood, FL
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Duration: 6-8 weeks
Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper usage
Verify prescriptions for accuracy and potential drug interactions
Provide clear patient education and answer medication-related questions
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy operations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceuticals and retail pharmacy procedures
Qualifications:
Valid Florida Pharmacist License
Proven experience in retail or community pharmacy settings
Strong attention to detail and patient-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
