Our loan product offers extremely competitive rates and terms- the best in the industry. Makes sound underwriting decisions and ensures that all decisions meet legal and policy requirements. Perform all duties in accordance with the companys policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 + monthly incentive plan./ppstrongWhat youll do:/strong/pulliA thorough knowledge of non-agency or non-QM mortgage loan underwriting./liliMaintains highly confidential information concerning loan applicants./liliRequires high level of organizational skills and ability to work on several tasks simultaneously./liliPerforms a thorough analysis of collateral to ensure property meets investor guidelines and the appraisal quality and completeness is acceptable./liliApplies and interprets company underwriting guidelines and makes sound credit decision./liliCompletes credit, analysis of income, analysis of property, ensures proper audits are completed and verifies consistency of loan file information./liliIdentifies risk factors within each loan and utilizes resources, tools and documentation to detect red flags and clear inconsistencies./liliReviews and evaluates credit information on mortgage loan documents to determine acceptability for specific loan programs./liliDetermines any conditions, stipulations or pre-funding requirements./liliReviews and clears underwriting conditions, stipulations or pre-funding requirements received./liliCommunicates with clients, sales teams and operations teams to resolve outstanding issues as they arise./li/ulpstrongWhat youll need:/strong/pulli5+ years mortgage underwriting work experience./liliExperience underwriting non-agency or non-QM loans./liliPaperless loan origination system experience preferred./liliDU and LP experience required./liliExperience working in a paperless environment preferred./li/ulpstrongOur company:/strong/ppCarrington Mortgage Services-Wholesale Lending is part of The Carrington Companies.
