About the Role

The Company is seeking a North America and Wealth at Work Control Testing Team Leader. This strategic and execution-oriented leadership role is accountable for end-to-end control testing, including design, results reporting, and insight sharing. The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately 6-8 professionals, ensuring the testing of controls that are designed and owned by the North America and Wealth at Work businesses. Key responsibilities include supporting the Controls Testing Utility, carrying a key responsibility for Control Design Assessment, maintaining resource forecasts, and driving continuous improvements in control testing. The role requires an individual with excellent management and communication skills, the ability to interact with senior managers, and a strong background in risk and controls, with a focus on operational controls performance assurance. Applicants for North America and Wealth at Work Control Testing Team Leader position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Risk & Controls roles. The candidate must be a subject matter expert in control design, execution, and/or control testing, with an advanced understanding of MCA frameworks and processes. Proficiency in MS Office is essential, and investment securities and/or insurance licenses are preferred. The role demands an independent thinker, capable of performing a credible challenge, and an individual with outstanding people and relationship management skills. The ability to work effectively on virtual teams and a proven track record of driving compliance and continuous improvement are also key qualifications for this position.
