This is a rewarding opportunity to provide meaningful one-on-one support that helps clients live their best lives at home. If you have a heart for helping others, we'd love to have you on our team!Responsibilities:Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homesAssist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errandsAccompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activitiesMonitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or well-being to supervisorsEngage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and recreational activitiesProvide respite care support for family caregiversMaintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clientsRequirements:Previous caregiving, home health, or companion care experience preferredGenuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individualsReliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningCPR/First Aid certification is a plusFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, or holidays as neededAbout Us:ComForCare Home Health Care - Sarasota is a trusted provider of in-home care services dedicated to helping clients live independently and comfortably in the place they love most — home.
