About This Role
We're excited to welcome a Lead Toddler Teacher to our team at Carriage House Early Learning Center in Breckenridge, CO! As a play-based early childhood school utilizing the Creative Curriculum and Pyramid Plus approach, we're passionate about supporting the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of young children. We provide care and early education for infants-Pre Kindergarten. What You'll Do- Coordinate and implement educational curriculum and care based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
- Actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
- Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences
- Maintain assessments and observations
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
- Engage in personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Colorado Shines Level 2 ECE Credential
Experience with infants and toddlers
Enroll in ECE 111 or EQIT (fully paid by Carriage House) Early Childhood classes, if needed, within the 6 months of employment)
Must clear full background check
Ability to work well with others and adjust to children's individual needs
Great attitude, flexibility, and willing to learn
Nice To HavesWe're looking for a certified Colorado Early Childhood teacher or someone with a Colorado Shines Level 2 credential
ECE 111 or EQIT
Previous experience working with young children in a group classroom setting would be a plus
A background in early childhood education, with relevant coursework, would be an asset to our team
