Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients to improve mobility, function, and strength
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs using EMR documentation
- Supervise PT Assistants and Aides to ensure top-quality patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and staff for seamless patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families, making them feel comfortable and informed
- Maintain accurate records including evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in California (or ability to obtain)
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient or rehabilitation setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Education
- Degree in Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and ICD-10 coding
- Proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and billing procedures for Medicare, workers' comp, etc.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers
