Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Veterinarian located in Grants Pass, OR. The Lead Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses and injuries in a variety of animals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting examinations, advising clients on proper pet care, performing surgical and medical procedures, interpreting diagnostics, maintaining accurate medical records, and working collaboratively with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure exceptional patient care and client satisfaction. They will also help to shape the tone of our community clinic, putting pets before profit. Qualifications Veterinary medical skills, including patient examination, diagnostics, and surgical proficiency. Client communication and education skills to build strong relationships with pet owners and provide insightful guidance on pet care and treatment plans. Teamwork and collaboration skills to effectively work with staff, support teams, and other veterinary professionals. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills to ensure compliance with medical protocols and accurate documentation of treatment history. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school and a valid veterinary license in Oregon required. Commitment to staying informed about best practices, industry advancements, and continuing education.
