Paramedic - Medical Transport - Full Time - Hours Vary

Shift/Schedule: Varies Overview Under the direct supervision of the Medical Transport Supervisor, the Paramedic will care for patients across all age groups—neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric—by treating and stabilizing patients within the scope of their certification. The position requires adherence to State of Georgia and NGHS policies, and involves both clinical and operational responsibilities. Minimum Job Qualifications State certification as a Paramedic Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) High School Diploma or GED Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Approved Defensive Driving course Essential Tasks & Responsibilities Comply with all departmental and hospital regulations, directives, and protocols. Maintain thorough, up‑to‑date knowledge of emergency medical care at the advanced level for pre‑hospital care of all injured or sick patients. Keep emergency vehicle clean, fueled, and equipped; ensure vehicle is operated safely and professionally. Mange all equipment on vehicle and retrieve all equipment stored at the hospital. Dress in the appropriate uniform attire as directed by NGHS and Medical Transport policies. Complete paperwork accurately and promptly, in compliance with State of Georgia standards and prior to the end of each shift. Conduct all verbal communication according to Medical Transport and NGHS policies and procedures. Physical Demands Lift up to 100 lbs frequently (31–65% of the time). Carried up to 100 lbs frequently (31–65% of the time). Vision moderate, frequently (31–65% of the time).
