Contract RN - Med Surg

Contract position for a Registered Nurse in Med Surg. Schedule is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No on-call requirements. Rotating weekends are necessary. Unit consists of 28 beds with a total of 32 full-time equivalent staff. Patient ratios are typically 5:1 to 6:1. Type of equipment includes video EEG, Hoyer lift, bladder scanner, vital sign machine, and telemetry. EMR system used is Meditech. Candidates with three years or more of nursing experience and experience in epilepsy care will be prioritized. The ideal candidate is open to feedback and demonstrates an owner mentality. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs with the designated logo. Unit policies and guidelines are in place to maintain standards. Awards and recognition of the department can enhance its appeal.
