Customer Care Specialist I (Manheim)

Job Overview Position: Customer Care Specialist – Individual Contributor Job Family: Customer Care Group – Cox Automotive, USA Work arrangement: Hybrid – ability to work remotely part of the week. Shift: Day. Compensation: Hourly base rate $16.59 - $24.86 per hour. Eligible for commission and incentive programs. Responsibilities Receive and respond to customer requests through various channels (phone, email, chat, ticketing systems). Listen actively to customers and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions. Troubleshoot and resolve standard technical and account‑related issues. Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams or specialists. Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in company systems. Follow security protocols when accessing customer information. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution. Support customer education and training as needed. Maintain customer relationships through quality service delivery. Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Less than 2 years of relevant experience. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects or tasks simultaneously. Foundational knowledge of computers, technology, internet, and email. Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially on phone and email. Experience working in a contact‑center, metrics‑driven environment. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to operate under tight pressure. Experience in the automotive industry.
