Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to support their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living practices
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers therapy techniques to ensure progress is maintained at home
• Track and Evaluate Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep goals on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
• Ongoing education or advanced certifications encouraged and supported

Licensing

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
