ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This role requires a strong clinical skill set and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.Position OverviewUnit Type: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)Number of Beds: 10Patient Ratios: 1:2 normallyShift Length: 12 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekShift Requirement: Nights, every other weekend, and rotated holiday obligationsFloating Requirements: May float to PCU, Med Surg, or ER for holds with a maximum ratio of 1:4ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including monitoring and managing patient conditions.Administer medications and titrate drips per protocols.Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.Participate in training and orientation processes for new staff.Engage in continuous education and professional development opportunities.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting.Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems; Epic experience preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Additional InformationUnit has a charge nurse on every shift.Respiratory Therapy (RT) is available in-house 24/7.Centralized monitoring with nurses responsible for verification of telemetry readings.If you are passionate about delivering excellent patient care and have the required qualifications, we invite you to apply for this opportunity to make a difference in critical care nursing.
