Maintenance Technician (PPG)

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll serve our residents by ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of the property. You’ll be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to maintain and enhance the value of our multi-site investment portfolio and maximize the living experience for our residents. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Property Manager. Where You’ll Work You’ll work at Coastal Ridge Real Estate's scattered site investment portfolio, Peak Property Group. Our Columbus portfolio, consisting of over 100 residential properties in the Short North, Downtown, German/Merion Village, and OSU Campus neighborhoods, totaling over 700 units and growing! Vehicle and Driver Requirements Must hold a valid driver's license and be insurable under company policy. A company vehicle is provided. Your Responsibilities Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of our properties, including general maintenance, HVAC, appliance repair, light electrical and plumbing, painting, finish work, and grounds. Inspect properties to ensure free of trash and litter, clean, safe, and presentable. Inspect and prepare vacant apartments for new residents. Complete repairs in a timely, accurate, and respectful manner. Work effectively alongside other maintenance technicians, contractors, sub-contractors, and other team members. Provide exceptional customer service. Other duties as directed and assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in property maintenance, handyman services, HVAC/appliance repairs preferred. Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair skills, including the use of hand tools and other necessary equipment. Must hold a valid driver's license and be insurable under company policy. A company vehicle is provided. Physical stamina and ability to work outside for long periods of time. Must be able to lift/move loads up to 50 lbs as well as use a ladder. Maintain professionalism at all times. Ability to speak elementary English required. Competitive Pay and Benefits Pay starting at $22 per hour and up to $30 per hour for well qualified individuals.
