Stamping Die Maintenance & Setup Specialist

About the role Picture your afternoon in our Warren, MI facility: you clock in, review the die maintenance form, and get hands‑on restoring stamping dies to peak condition. You’ll partner with the press team for tryout runs, verify results against quality expectations, and fine‑tune or modify tooling so production launches smoothly. What you’ll do Restore, service, and repair stamping press dies in line with documented die maintenance forms. Support die tryout runs alongside production to validate performance. Contribute to die modifications that meet and sustain quality requirements. What you bring 8+ years of tool and die experience or UAW certification in tool and die. High school diploma or equivalent. Strength in equipment troubleshooting, blueprint interpretation, and tool/die/mold setup and repair. Experience with CNC machine setup and changeover.
