Dentons US LLP, the world’s largest law firm, is looking for a talented Patent Agent to join our dynamic Intellectual Property & Technology (IP&T) practice. We need someone with a bachelor’s degree (and preferably an advanced degree) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field-plus at least 5 years of significant hands‑on experience as a patent agent in drafting and prosecuting patent applications. Our clients span a wide range of technologies, so versatility, adaptability, curiosity and openness to learning is a must. You’ll collaborate with our close‑knit team of partners, counsels, associates, and patent agents on exciting, high‑stakes inventions, taking on responsibilities such as: Harvesting inventions directly from clients Advising clients on invention disclosures, patent strategy, and prosecution Evaluating cutting‑edge technology Drafting and prosecuting US patent applications Guiding prosecution of foreign patent applications Contributing to opinion work Client counseling Supporting litigation efforts Providing hands‑on technical support across the practice Why join us?
