Truck Driver

Job TitleLoad, securement and operate all CDL type vehicles in the Transportation Fleet including tractor trailers, tankers, oversized and permitted vehicles within the service territory. Assist the Equipment Operator in vehicle operation and associated rigging work for Material Delivery work.Note: This is an on-site position. Employees are required to be in office at our Berywyn - PA location for any scheduled shifts.Primary DutiesFlexibility in reporting to remote work locations within the PECO Energy systemAvailable for shift work as requiredAvailable for off-hours work opportunitiesBasic rigging techniques for lifting equipment and materials onto vehicles to deliver to various locationsUnderstands the proper method of securing different types of material to be loaded and transportedSuccessful candidate is expected to have the ability to progress to Equipment Operator should business needs requireMinimum Qualifications3-5 years experience in tractor/trailer driving experience and working with heavy equipmentClass A CDL license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsementsExperience working around or near energized equipmentOSHA Forklift certified or the ability to become OSHA Forklift certifiedOne to three years experience with basic rigging techniques for the lifting of equipment and materials onto vehicles for delivery to various locationOne to three years experience using the proper method of securing different types of material to be loaded and transported on flatbed trailersWorking knowledge of boom trucks, and tractor-trailersPreferred QualificationsForklift ExperienceTrained in the use of hand signals for cranesExperience with hazmat, tanker, flatbed and forkliftAbility to work overtime, as needed
