The Warehouse Team Lead has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising warehouse activities on a daily basis. Responsible for supervising the receiving, warehousing and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. How you create impact Oversee daily warehouse operations, including the unloading, receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping of products while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Ensure inventory accuracy and product integrity by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory records and locator systems, rotating stock as appropriate, and supporting physical inventory counts. Lead and coordinate warehouse personnel by implementing work schedules, assigning tasks effectively, and ensuring duties are completed accurately and efficiently. Promote safe and compliant operations by ensuring the proper use of material handling equipment and adherence to OSHA, MSDS, and company safety policies and procedures. Maintain an organized, secure, and efficient warehouse environment through space optimization, warehouse consolidation, housekeeping standards, and facility security practices. Complete operational documentation and reporting accurately and timely while ensuring compliance with Kuehne + Nagel Quality, Safety, Health & Environment (QSHE) policies and procedures. What we would like you to bring Education: High School Diploma or Technical Degree required. 3+ years of warehouse/distribution center experience, including at least 1 year in a Lead, Team Lead, or Supervisory role. Ability to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work effectively with minimal supervision. Strong computer skills, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and Microsoft Office applications. Experience operating and directing the safe use of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks; forklift certification preferred. Working knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, receiving, shipping, and inventory accuracy processes. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop warehouse associates. Solid understanding of warehouse safety practices and OSHA regulations.Ability to identify and resolve operational issues while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory management, documentation, and shipment verification. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment that may require standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods Must be able to read and comprehend written English to perform essential job functions and adhere to safety requirements.
